According to the UN experts, the Algerian authorities’ move was prompted by the threat of a likely infiltration of “ terrorists ” to the Algerian soil or the mercenaries who were fighting by the side of the ousted president Moammar Al – Queddafi.
-
The terrorist threat has increased in the Sahel region that became a “fertile” ground for the terrorist groups that paid allegiance to Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb amid the deteriorating conditions that are prevailing in Libya.
