Algeria-Russia: Bouteflika-Medvedev discussions, bilateral accords to be signed

ALGIERS- President of the republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika and President Dmitri Medvedev of Russia, on a one-day official visit to Algeria, have held discussions Wednesday at the Residence of State of Zeralda (Algiers).

Arrived a few hours ago in Algiers, President Medvedev is accompanied by an important delegation comprising government members, senior Russia Federation officials and businessmen, who will take part in an Algerian-Russian economic forum and a Russian products show, to be held on the sidelines of the visit.

The two leaders will examine the bilateral cooperation and exchange views on international and regional topical issues. Bilateral agreements in various fields are due to be signed.
