Algeria Seeks to Participate in the First Women's Fleet to Break the Siege of Gaza

International Commission for Breaking the Siege of Gaza is preparing to launch the project of Women’s Freedom Flotilla, which will take part in a new challenge journey to lift the siege, that has lingering on our brothers in Gaza.

The project will be announced in Italy, to coincide with the celebrations of International Women’s Day, Prof. and Human Rights Activist, Chenaf Bouzid, a member of the International Committee to Break the Siege of Gaza, and also a member of the State Committee to Support Gaza and Palestine in Biskra (Southern Algeria), told Echorouk.

Despite Algeria’s participation in the Women’s Fleet, but the spokesman asserted that he does not have the names of Algerian women who’ll participate.

“Efforts will be made strongly so that Algeria will be present in all campaigns to break the siege of Gaza.”

“State Committee to Support Gaza and Palestine in Biskra is doing many charitable projects that have been completed, waiting for several projects that are programmed in the short and medium terms, like the completion of nine wells in Beit Hanoune, Beit Lahiya, Bureij, Khan Younis, Rafah, and in central Gaza.”

“First well that was completed is called “Biskra Well” and is located in Beit Hanoun, in addition to a center for water desalination “Biskra Khayira” in Khan Younis, a medical center “Biskra” in the region of Shijaia, which offers free services to children, the elderly and equipment for patients and the injured, and it has also organized a 28 campaigns in the form of medical treatment and free examination by Algerian doctors. The campaign also included the distribution of wheelchairs in most areas of Gaza”.
