Algeria sends a humanitarian aid convoy for the Gaza strip
A humanitarian aid ship carrying 60 containers of basic food, medical and office supplies for the Gaza Strip set sail Wednesday night from Algeria to Egypt, according to an Algerian radio station report.

This operation has been initiated by the Association of Algerian Ulamas (scholars) as well as national personalities, citizens from different provinces, businessmen and associations in solidarity with Palestinian people, the organizers announced.

A total of 60 containers loaded with staple foodstuffs, school stationeries, medical equipements, including a multidisciplinary mobile clinic, haemodialysis materials and scanners are meant for the Gazans. The Algerian aid ship left Algiers for Al Arish port in Egypt.
