Algeria to 22nd FESPACO of Ouagadougou

ALGIERS- The 22nd Pan-African Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO) is to be held from February 26 to March 5 in Burkina Faso's capital under the theme: “African cinema and markets,” with the participation of 28 African countries.

Conferences are planned around that theme to find solutions to the problems of funding, production and broadcasting of films in Africa.

The representatives of 28 countries must present at this biennial event 111 movies in the official competition and 84 out of competition in all categories.

The competing films concern various categories (feature film, short film, video TV fiction, TV series video, documentary film and African schools of cinema).
