Algeria vs Morocco: Airfare goes up to 43,000 DZ

Trip airfare from Algiers to Casablanca raised to 43,000 DZ from 28,000 DZ a month before June 4th’s African Cup return match between Algeria and Morocco.

• Touristy agencies found themselves incapable of organising collective transport of hundreds of demands from the Algerian team’s fans.

• “The price went up gradually from 28,000 DZ to 36,000 DZ and then to 43,000 DZ,” an agency’s owner told Echorouk.

• “We have not made any booking so far although w received hundreds of demands,” said another owner.

• “My agency has got used to collective booking but the applied price will not enable fans to support the national team in Morocco,” he added.

• Another agency’s director believes that the price is “normal” as the ticket can be recovered or changed.

• According to press attaché at the Algerian airliner Air Algerie, the seasonal price is still the same and is sold in agencies. “It is estimated at 285,000 DZ. It is very limited and depends on the availability of seats. In most of time, it is individual and not collective.”

• The name of the stadium where the match will be played is expected to be announced on Tuesday.
