Algeria’s humanitarian aid convoy reaches Gaza

The Algerian humanitarian aid to Palestinian people arrived on Saturday afternoon to the Gaza strip, Amar Talbi, vice president of the Muslim Scholars Association, which supervises the aid in coordination with the Algerian Red Crescent said. 

  • “The first aid, carrying 14 containers of basic food, medicines, medical and office supplies, as well as cloths will be followed by other containers here on Sunday”, he added.

  • “The Algerian delegation was helped by Egyptian authorities in Rafah terminal, in order to enter to Gaza. Foodstuff will cross Aoudja terminal, under Israeli administration, to be received by Gaza inhabitants.

  • First aids were received by officials in Al Ouiam charity association and the head of governmental committee for lifting the blockade on Gaza.     
  •  
  • This operation has been initiated by the Association of Algerian Ulamas (scholars) as well as national personalities, citizens from different provinces, businessmen and associations in solidarity with Palestinian people, the organizers announced.
