Algerian Air Force Tested Emirati Military Drone
A specialized outlet in military affairs namely the “MEDA DEFENCE” Website has revealed that the Algerian Air Force has conducted tests on an Emirati-made plane without pilot, a Yahbon United 40 Drone type, that is likely to be the subject of a purchase deal being prepared between the two sides.
According to the same source, this plane is considered one of the best aircraft in the world in terms of reliability; it is capable of carrying a dozen anti-tank missiles and flying for more than 45 consecutive hours.
This plane is also available on the system that has the ability to use maritime anti-submarine missions, after undergoing modern development processes in order to make it more effective in the Naval Task Group, as it has been equipped with Italian-built electronic devices from the Leonardo Production Company.
The same source also noted that the Algerian Air Force also tested an unmanned drone, a Chinese-made the CH4 plane for almost two years between 2014 and 2015, and pointed out that the experiments to this effect were very intense.
