Algerian and Palestinian players address a message to Zionists: Palestine wins

Palestinian team defeated the national olympic team with 1 goal on Wednesday in a friendly match in the July 5th stadium in support of the Palestinian cause.

In the first half time, the Algerian players had control over the ball but without threatening goalkeeper Musab Baatat. 

The Palestinians did not respond until the 18th minute as Abu Nahia seized the opportunity of a defensive error and kicked the ball to goalkeeper Salhi. Then, the Palestinian players started having control by almost scoring a goal in the last 15 minutes. The first half time finished with a draw.

 In the second half time, the Palestinian team’s performance was better as the players were more defensive. Striker Abu Mahia scored a goal in the 62nd minute after he had seized the opportunity of Algeria’s defensive mistake. 

Fans reacted to the goal while the Algerian players responded by trying to score in the 73rd and 79th minute but in vain. Palestinian striker Imad Salem failed in scoring the second goal in the 87th minute although he was face to face with goalkeeper Chaal.

There was no change in the rest of time. The Palestinian team got a big symbolic victory which made the joy of fans in the stadium.
