Algerian coach Rabah Saadane laughs off the critics

Talking yesterday to “Echourok” the Algerian national coach Rabah Saadane has indicated that he will meet next week the president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) Mohammed Raouraoua and will discuss several issues surrounding the future of the Algerian national squad , adding that he didn’t sign his contract yet.

• However, he has revealed the he has given his agreement in principle to carry on his adventure at the helm of the Algerian team. But he seized this opportunity to fire back at those who criticized him over the last period saying that they would rather prove their skills on the pitch instead of indulging in baseless critics that undermined the stability of the national squad.

• Rabah Saadane has asserted that the Algerian Federation will make an official statement right after the meeting between him and the president Raouraoua” the Algerian Federation has a bright future so has the Algerian national team, since we’ll start the last phase of the preparations for the qualifiers to the 2012 African Cup of Nations”.

• He has recalled the reporters that he was ready to stay at the helm of the national squad “ I will carry on my work as a national coach and we agreed upon a meeting next week to discuss a special project dealing with the future prospects of the Algerian football for the two or four years”.
