Algerian coach Saadane to reconsider his choices before the World cup

The Algerian national team coach Rabah Saadane was not convinced by the performance of the Algerian national squad’s captain Yazid Manssouri and decided to put him on the bench during the upcoming World cup tournament, reliable sources close to the team has revealed.

• Rabah Saadane intents to replace him by the freshly selected player Adlane Guedioura, who proved to be fit for this post though he started as a right winger.

• In addition to Yazid Mansouri, the Algerian coach was utterly disappointed by both Habib Belaid and Rafik Djebbour as he informed his assistants that he will put them on the bench also.

• Rabah Saadane is due to call up both Antar Yahia and Madjid Bougherra in the central defence alongside Rafik Halliche, but this doesn’t mean that Habib Belaid will be pushed aside from the starting line-up, it said.

• Karim Ziani is most likely to take over Yaid Mansouri and become the captain of the Algerian national squad as from the upcoming friendly versus the United Arabs Emirates, especially that Guaouaoui, Saifi and Mansouri have small chances to start the matches.

• The coach was very sceptical as the to efficiency of his attack considering it as the weak link of his team that could lead to a precautious elimination from the tournament if doesn’t solve the problem during the next training camp in Germany.
