Algerian coach to reveal his strategy on Friday
Rabah Saadane
All it seems that the Algerian head coach Rabah Saadane has definitely made up his mind concerning the starting line-up that will face the Slovenian national squad next Sunday as part of their match in the world cup, though he didn’t pronounce on the matter openly.

-
The last friendly match versus the UAE was real test for the coach and seized this opportunity to pick up the players, but yesterdays’ training sessions helped him to make up his mind.

-
The attack worries the coach
-
-
Rabah Saadane is facing tremendous difficulties to select the attackers after resolving somehow the problem in the other lines.
-
-
The coach has tried several options starting with putting Ghezzal alone on the front than joining Rafik Saifi to him, but he is not keen to venture especially that Ghezzal proved shaky and lost his efficiency lately as he didn’t score all along the 11 matches he played with the Greens.

-
The duo Matmour- Djebbour is another option
-
-
During the last training sessions, the coach has tried another pair in the attack made up of Karim Matmour and Rafik Djebbour in the hope to surprise the Slovenian defence but this it’s too early to pronounce on this option.
-
-
The coach has the opportunity to try several other tactics during the training sessions pending their move to Bolokwani next Saturday.
-
-
However, Rabah Saadane tried Ryadh Boudebbouz as a right-winger where Karim Matmour is used to play but in case where this one is asked to play on the front of the attack, he would be forced to leave the right side of the field to Boudebbouz.

-
Things are clearer with the goalkeepers and the defenders
-
-
By contrast, Rabah Saadane has definitely made up his mind as concerns the goalkeepers and defenders alike; Fouzi Chaouchi has brilliantly snatched his place as the regular goalkeeper, and then M’bolhi comes in the second position while Lounes Guaouaoui closes the list.
-
-
As to the defence, the coach doesn’t seem to have any other choice than relying on Rafik Halliche, Madjid Bougherra and Antar Yahia following, thus the same scheme used during the qualifiers.
-
-
He is considering the option of using a flat defence with four players but the problem lies in the right side. In case where the coach decides to implement this scheme, he would be forced to use Antar Yahia and Madjid Bougherra in the axis and maybe Adlane Guedioura as a right-winger because Bougherra refused to evolve in this post.
