Algerian Football Federation to appoint a foreign coach assistant

The Federal bureau has yesterday discussed during a meeting the eventuality of appointing a third assistant to the national head coach Rabah Saadane.

•  The new coach will be a renowned foreign one who has never worked in Algeria before. The President of the Algerian Football Federation has insisted on anointing a highly skilled coach so that he will be the coach’s right hand man.

• In addition to the coach’s assistant, M Raouraoua has suggested a foreign manager or an Algerian born abroad but aware of the international football issues to replace Walid Sadi who recently stepped down.

• The Algerian football officials a thinking of sealing an agreement with the Qatar- based sports clinic “ASPETAR” in a move to supervise the Algerian players medically.

• The federal bureau’s members have unanimously approved the president’s suggestion to prolong Rabah Saadane’s contract at the helm of the national squad until 2012. Rabah Saadane will lead the “Greens” until the upcoming African Cup of Nations in Guinea and Gabon.

• Chakouri will be present at the next training camp

• During his intervention before the members of the federal bureau, the coach Rabah Saadane has made a thorough presentation in relation to the latest participation of the national squad to the World cup, hinting to his intent to call up the Belgium club “ Charleroi” player Mohammed Chakouri to take part to the next training camp ahead of the friendly match against Gambia.

• The coach is due to fly to Europe next week as  part of tour to convince other players to join the Greens, starting with Lyon, France, in a move to confer with Tafer Yanis , While his assistant Zahir Djelloul will move to Valence, to try to convince Feghouli who expressed his will to play for the Greens.

• Against all expectations, the coach Rabah Saadane has decided to host the Greens’ future adversaries at the 5 July Olympic stadium here in Algiers, instead of Tchaker stadim, Blida, 40 kilometres far from Algiers.
