The Federal bureau has yesterday discussed during a meeting the eventuality of appointing a third assistant to the national head coach Rabah Saadane.

  •  The new coach will be a renowned foreign one who has never worked in Algeria before. The President of the Algerian Football Federation has insisted on anointing a highly skilled coach so that he will be the coach’s right hand man.

  • In addition to the coach’s assistant, M Raouraoua has suggested a foreign manager or an Algerian born abroad but aware of the international football issues to replace Walid Sadi who recently stepped down.

  • The Algerian football officials a thinking of sealing an agreement with the Qatar- based sports clinic “ASPETAR” in a move to supervise the Algerian players medically.

  • The federal bureau’s members have unanimously approved the president’s suggestion to prolong Rabah Saadane’s contract at the helm of the national squad until 2012. Rabah Saadane will lead the “Greens” until the upcoming African Cup of Nations in Guinea and Gabon.
