Algerian National Handball teams resilient to make a good showing in Egypt.
The Algerian ladies and men Handball national squads yesterday flew to Cairo, Egypt to take part to the African Cup of Nations tournament well- resolved to make a good showing to remain among the best at the continental level.

The Algerian delegation comprised 60 people including the teams’ athletes, technical and medical staffs and the administrative members. The men’s squad led by the former international Salah Bouchekriou comprises 16 athletes, while the ladies under the supervision of Ait Ouarab comprised 15 athletes.

The Algerian delegation will dwell at the International Scout Center.

The Algerian sports and youth minister Al Hachemi Djiar was present at Algiers International Airport’s lobby to bid farewell to the Algerian delegation and assure them of the total support of the highest authorities in the country, seizing this opportunity to boost their spirits and come back with the best results possible.

Were present at the airport, several outstanding sports figures in addition to top officials who moved along to encourage the athletes and lift their spirit, knowing that task won’t be easy at all on account of the pressure they will face on spot from the Egyptian fans who still hold the grudge against Algeria in the aftermath of their ousting from the world Cup competition.
