Algerian Pilgrims to Receive Corona Vaccin Next Week

Health Ministry, will start the vaccination of Algerian pilgrims against the Corona virus which is widespread in Saudi Arabia, in order to prevent the return of any Algerian pilgrim with the virus that cause fear in the world.

Algerian pilgrims will also be subject to vaccination against all diseases and possible epidemics.

Health, Population and Hospitals’ Reform Minister, Abdelmalek Boudiaf, revealed on the instructions which he gave to his services, in order to start, as from next week, the vaccination of Algerian pilgrims for the season 2016, and whose number is 28,000 pilgrims.

“Vaccination will protect pilgrims from epidemics and diseases, especially from the Corona virus that is prevalent in some regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Pilgrims with chronic diseases will also benefit, for the first time, from vaccination to ensure a pilgrimage that is free of health problems, and the start will be on March 27.”

“Pilgrims vaccination record includes some electronic adjustments this year, and this in agreement between all the concerned sectors. Medial teams are allocated at the level of each state for pilgrims’ health monitoring to enable them to perform the rituals in good health, especially that the medical examination which is conducted by the pilgrim before travelling would determine his/her ability to perform the rituals, and if a dangerous illnesses, that is included in the list of diseases that are identified by the Health Ministry, the pilgrim will be excluded, because its inhibits his/her ability to perform the Hajj.
