Algerian players: ” Pitch and Coach's tactical scheme behind our setback vs Slovenia”
The players of the Algerian national football squad were unanimous in asserting that they did not deserve the one-nil defeat against Slovenia as they had dominated the play throughout the match but to no avail.
-
In various statements made to “Echorouk”, the players of the Algeria squad said that they were ill at ease with the tactical scheme adopted by national coach Rabah Saâdane during the decisive match versus the Slovenia team.
-
Some of the players also said that the pitch of the Polkwane stadium, made up of both artificial and natural grass, was a major drawback and did not allow them to evolve and play at ease.

The national team coach Rabah Saâdane also complained about the state of the pitch of the Polkwane stadium stressing his players had earlier found great difficulty playing on it during the training sessions.
