Algerian presenter Hafid Derradji honored by Echourok newspaper
Echourok newspaper has honored one of the most outstanding Algerian sportscasters Hafid Derradji as a mark of gratitude for the services he rendered for long years when he was at the Algerian television.
- By doing so, Echourok meant to establish a tradition in Algeria which consists in honouring the Algerian competencies abroad considering that there are many working in different fields of activities and pledging not to spare a single effort to pay tribute to them.
- The ceremony was marked by the absence of the Algerian television, the school from where the hero of the day started his successful career, but this didn’t spoil the overall atmosphere upgraded by the presence of other outstanding figures.
- Mohammed Raouraoua: Derradji is a friend, a brother and an honor for the Algerian media:
- The chairman of the Algerian Football Federation, Mohammed Rauoraoua hailed Echourok and its publisher Ali Fodhil for honouring the star of the Algerian media and currently Al Jazeera presenter Abdelhafidh Derraji.
- In his allocution, Mohammed Raouraoua has indicated that Echourok has always celebrated those who honored Algeria either domestically or abroad “ Hafid Derradji is a brother for me and consider him as a top class commentator and an accomplished journalist; he masters his art the written and audiovisual media… I seize this opportunity to say that the Algerian star is shining on the Arab sky”.
- Mohammed Rauoraoua has further added” Derradji has always ambitioned to become a successful manager all along his career and he faithfully served the Algerian television, I remember that he was always consulting me to acquire the European Champions League matches with no more than 40 thousand Euros while other channels were acquiring them with staggering costs”

- The chairman of the Algerian Football Federation Mohammed Raouraoua has indicated that the FAF is rich and cannot be affected by the latest problems that some parties are trying to create in a bid to destabilize it.
- Talking on the sidelines of the ceremony, Mohammed Raouraoua has indicated that the FAF’s treasury is no longer empty adding that the government’s subsidiaries estimated at 3.5 billion Algerian Dinars are not enough if compared to the subsidiaries given to some neighboring countries that reach 200 billions.
- Reacting to the allegations that the Algerian federation went bankrupt, Mohammed Raouraoua has declared that this is the first time ever that the Algerian football governing body cherishes this financial embellishment, adding that the FAF didn’t posses even a its own premises in the past .
