Algerian prisoners in Libya suffer hard times after isolation in detentions
Reliable sources from families of Algerian prisoners in Libya announces on a stampede from Jadida detention in Tripoli on Monday morning, where 27 Algerians detained since years, with the connivance of staff, asserting that guards isolated Algerian prisoners and allowed Africans and Libyans to escape.
Same sources spoke about the bad living situation of Algerian prisoners, asserting that it is getting worse and worse with the new violent clashes and genocides in Libya.
Echorouk sources said there have been real genocides against Libyan people, at a time the situation of 29 Algerian prisoners is exacerbating in Jadida detention and 17 in Tripoli prison, where hundreds of prisoners fled since the eruption of violence in this country, with the complicity of security agents and staff of administration who allowed hundreds of Libyan and African prisoners to escape in order to use them in killing civilians and aborting revolution of youth who seek change.
Representative of Algerian prisoners’ families regrets the failure of Algeria Consul in Libya to do his tasks given that he cut his visits to Algerian prisoners since 2009, at a time unfair provisions were brought against a lot of them, including prisoner Ben Tourkia Abdelbasset, who was accused of selling alcoholics while in detention, this happened while he was preparing himself to end punishment and years in detention in order to return back home safe and healthy.
