Algerian students continue protests and lost three weeks of program before winter holidays

Students of the High School for Teaching in Bouzarea, Algiers, went on strike on Sunday protesting against their classification as teachers of primary and not middle school.

 

  A number of students in the faculties of human sciences economic closed the university gate protesting against the lack of security following attack of a student by a thief last week end, announcing an open strike until government will realize their demands.

 

Students of management and economic sciences in Deli Brahim, Algiers, also closed doors of the university protesting against the lack of equality in classification with LMD system graduates.  

 

Series of protests also continue in universities of Oran, Chlef, west of Algeria, and Bouira and Constantine, east of Algeria, where they boycotted exams of the first six months, forcing administration to delay them.    

 

On the other hand, UNEA, organization of Algerian Students threatened of stepping up tone of the protests and engage in an open strike if administration of the Chlef University, west of Algeria, insists on closing dialogue with the students and their representatives, as well as neglecting demands and concerns brought by the organization.
