Well-informed sources told Echorouk that the national TV enterprise “ENTV” has up to now not got in touch with “Being In Sport” channel with the aim of purchasing from the latter the rights to broadcast the first-leg fixture in Blantyre stadium between home team Malawi and Algeria as part of the qualifying matches for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations’ competition to be hosted next January by Morocco.

As a result of this gross lapses by the sports department of the “ENTV” public enterprise, there’s all likelihood that the Algerian TV viewers and especially the football fans will be deprived from watching the first-leg Malawi-Algeria qualifier scheduled to be played next Saturday in Blantyre stadium.

The same sources added that the managers of the “ENTV” enterprise have so far not even contacted the Qatari sports channel in order to negotiate the purchase of the broadcasting rights of this qualifier in the hope of allowing the Algerian TV viewers to watch the upcoming game.

Because of this repeated neglect of duty and professional rigour, the Algerian TV viewers were also deprived in early September 2014 of following the live broadcast of the Ethiopia- Algeria qualifier in Addis Ababa stadium.

Meanwhile, The Algeria Football Team is now on a training camp in Sidi Moussa technical Centre to prepare the first-leg and second-leg matches against Malawi, on 11 and 15 October, as part of the day 3 and 4 of CAN2015 playoffs.

The first match will be in Blantyre, Malawi’s economic capital while the second one will take place in Mustapha Tchaker Stadium in Blida (50 km of Algiers).

The coach of Algeria, Christian Gourcuff called up 24 players.

The French coach has renewed confidence in the group that took part in the first two playoff games resulted in two victories on the soil of Ethiopia (2-1) and at home against Mali (1-0).

Nevertheless, he removed the two goalkeepers, Fawzi Chaouchi and Cédric Si Mohamed, and called up again JS Kabylie keeper Azeddine Doukha, which has not been selected since May.

As for him, JSK right-sided defender, Khadir Ziti, is called up for the first time, as he replaces Mehdi Zeffane of Olympique de Lyon (Ligue 1, France), not selected this time.

Before the Day 3 and 4, Algeria tops Group B with six points. Mali and Malawi are second with three points each, while Ethiopia is in the last position.
