Hundred Algerians tourists heading to Tunisia have been to hell on the crossing border, as tens of Tunisian dwellers in the village of Boushebka have clashed with Tunisian border guards and then blocked the main road.

The Tunisian protesters have not only prevented Algerians from continuing their way, but also barred them from leaving the crossing border and come back home, provoking a long queue of about 500 cars.

Some of them told Echorouk reporter on phone that they were victims of attacks orchestrated by some protesters there, while a woman was seriously injured and evacuated to a medical centre to endure treatments.

Eyewitnesses asserted that the Algerian tourists were stuck and could not get any food or water, as authorities in Tunisia have not interned yet to save them from this mire.

Meanwhile, some hooded people have attacked some trapped cars and stolen money and properties, while other Algerians were victim of fake checkpoint set up in the city of Kirwan, where no one of them was permitted to pass without paying “the road fee.”

The trapped Algerians have urged Algerian authorities to intervene as soon as possible to rescue them.
