Ali Haddad: “I Submitted My Proposals To Ouyahia, I'm Ready To Face Tabboune's Warnings”

ETRHB group is prepared to face the law that is imposed on it after the expiration of the deadline for the Haddad Public Works Complex, President of the Forum of Heads of Enterprises, Ali Haddad, Told Echorouk, on the sidelines of FCE’s ceremony to distribute 10,000 school bags for the needy pupils, on Wednesday, at the Environment House in the province of Tipaza, as he was accompanied by the General-Secretary of the General Union of Algerian Workers, Abdel-Madjid Sidi El-Said.

“Our projects are not delayed. We provided explanations to the authorities and at the moment I do not understand the reason for the complaints that are raised against us”, Haddad, who manages ETRHB company, and which is implicated in several pretexts for delaying the projects and which was granted a 60 days to comply with what is required by law, explained.

“I was clear from the beginning. My projects did not notice any delay, and I explained everything that raised confusion at the time, and at the moment I do not understand the reason for the complaints that are directed by the government, which was headed by Abdelmadjid Tabboune, on the facilities that I ensure the completion. We are ready to face this problem after the end of the deadline and we will solve the problem Inchallallah”.

“We do not understand the reason for the tripartite meeting on September,23. We met a few months ago in Annaba, specifically on last March 6, where we discussed all the social and economic files. The tripartite contract needs to be prepared in depth and the decision that was taken previously was not deliberate, but was hasty, as this meeting will be for the proposal and to consider the files and search for solutions, and all this takes longer time, which prevented us from meeting on next September 23”.

Chairman of the forum of heads of institutions asserted that the FCE (FHI) will contribute to the Finance Act of 2018, through a number of proposals that are submitted to the new Prime Minister, Ahmed Ouyahia, a few days ago.

“We have presented our proposals as businessmen to the government and we will disclose their content in a timely manner. The Forum of Heads of Institutions will present its recommendations and proposals and will be an important force for the next phase”.

For his part, the General-Secretary of the General Union of Algerian Workers, Abdelmadjid Sidi Said, refused to go into the tripartite file, which was prepared for holding next September 23, in a previous meeting between the parties to the economic and social contract and former Prime Minister Abdelmadjid Tabboune, noting in a response to Echorouk question that “the decision to postpone the meeting came at the request of the Prime Minister, Ahmed Ouyahia, who asserted that he is the only person who is authorized to determine the date of the new contract and its place and all the details that are associated with the file.

During his speech, on the occasion of the distribution of aid to needy children, which included in its first phase, 10.000 schoolbags, that will be followed by 10.000 other school bags, the Honorary Chairman of the Forum of Heads of Enterprises, Omar Ramadan, added that the businessmen are an active force in Algeria, and they contribute to the financial budget of the country, and have the right to refuse being insulted and defamed, therefor, they can defend themselves and to prevent their exclusion and marginalization, by proving that they are a force of proposal and can provide much to the national economy.

Head of the Algerian Red Crescent, Saida Ben Hebiles, confirmed that the FEC (FHI) became the most important partner to the ARC since 3 years ago, adding that it contributed to a large project through creating a bank for preserving aid and donations that the association will manage soon.
