Angry inhabitants upsurge against illegal bars in tiny locality

The inhabitants of the municipality of Ain Al Bya , in the province of Oran, have taken to the streets to protest against the illegal bars, pressing the local authorities to close them immediately.

• The angry inhabitants of this tiny locality resorted to a peaceful march to express their outrage raising slogans that read “ The inhabitants of Ain Al Bya demand the closing down of the bars”, pledging to burn them to ashes if the local authorities fail to make an end to their activities.

• The protesters have declared to Echourouk that they grew fed up with spread of immoral behaviours in their compound like brawls between the drunken men and insults.

• They have indicated that they formally contacted the local authorities informing them that two bars are operating illegally but they didn’t take up the necessary measures to put an end to their activities.
