ANSEJ launches new measures for investment projects

Algeria’s agency in support of youth people ANSEJ will launch new measures for investment projects meant to create new jobs and end administrative hindrances, the adviser of the agency’s General Director Slimane Boulegurinate said on Thursday.

« The new measures will include the reduction of applications treatment and banking procedures, » Boulegurinate told a national radio channel.

« ANSEJ has funded more than 242,77 SME projects since the begining of the year. The number of funded projects in support of young people are on the rise. Other 2,500 projects are still funded by ANSEJ, » he added.

He also said the agriculture sector is ranked first for investment projects funded by ANSEJ followed by industry and maintenance then construction and irrigation.

General Director of the agriculture and rural development bank (BDL) Boualam Djebbar said projects funded by the bank reach 60 percent. In 2013, the bank funded 13,000 projects and 11,000 in 2014.
