Armed criminals infiltrate in Algerian Sahara to loot gold

National Gendarmerie Services arrested 220 foreigners from Mali, Tchad and Nigeria who are active in armed cells for looting mine resources and gold, in the regions of Tiririne, Ghersou Wailini, in Tamenrasset, Southern Algeria, then smuggle them beyond border.

ANP forces leadership took exceptional measures to protect the region.

Echorouk sources reported that the process of looting mining resources and gold in the region of Tiririne, which is located in the eastern side of Tamenrasset, was discovered by the border guards services,following information about the activity of cells that sneak bout the Algerian border taking advantage of the bad security situation in the neighboring countries, to loot the mining resources and gold , then smuggle them to other countries. 

Same sources added that border guards services arrested 220 foreigners from African nationals, especially from Mali, Tchad and niger , and seized 40 cars that are used in smuggling a significant number of arms and devices for detecting chemical elements.
