Armed Forces Foil Terrorists' Infiltration From Libya, ISIS Faces More Pressure

Algeria Armed troops lifted, since Monday, the state of alert in the southern border with Libya, after monitoring a series of moves and communication between terrorists, as four ISIS terrorists were monitored, one of them is believed to be Tunisian, two Algerians and another which nationality is not yet identified.

ISIS terrorists tried to infiltrate but the vigilant armed forces and the border guards forced them to escape back towards the rear of Libya, after being prosecuted also by the Zintan battalions, and they fled towards the Libyan city of Daradj, at 60 kilometers far from the Algerian border.

Armed troops undertook comprehensive combing operations in the border region with Libya, Dabdab and Ghadames in the Tunisian triangle. An area where ISIS elements are moving after fleeing Sirte, following the intervention of US troops with airstrikes on the city.

Sources talked about a number of terrorists who were able to sneak into the Tunisian territory, on the eve of Eid al-Adha, posing as sellers of cattle and sheep smugglers, an information that was monitored by intelligence queries, and led to installing a security cordon on the border areas, through using helicopters and intensifying foot patrols.

Same sources from Dabdab border town with Libya said that the city turned into a quasi-military barracks to secure the country from any challenges or terrorist attack that may be carried out by the terrorists who want to disturb the region, according to security experts.
