The Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars will transfer an aid convoy to Rohingya refugees’ camp in Bangladesh from Arish port.

Karim Rezki who is in charge of relations at the Association’s relief commission said the human aid convoy will be sent to Rohingya Muslims as it could not bring them to Gaza

He added that Rohingya activists collaborate with the Association to send the aid. A relief association accredited in Bangladesh led by member of Parliament Professor Mohamed Nidameddine Nadaoui will receive the aid and send it to Rohingya refugees on borders between Bangladesh and Burma.

Karim Rezki also said the Association started collecting donations to establish a hospital on borders between Bangladesh and Burma to offer medical care for Rohingya refugees.

A delegation from the Association will fly to Bangladesh to check the situation of Rohingya in camps. It will include a doctor, a chemist and officials.

Earlier, the Association sent four convoys to Gaza but Egyptian authorities put many obstacles to the fourth convoy. It included four ambulances, tones of medicines, food and medical equipment. Its total value is estimated at about $5 million.
