Austrian companies control technical studies in Algeria

The Economic and Commercial Adviser to Australia Embassy in Algiers, Elric Straka, said during a forum in Algiers held on Saturday that trade exchange between Austria and Algeria reached about $450m.

He added that the Austrian exports to Algeria exceeded, in the first six months of 2010, more than $ 110m, +15 percent compared to the same period of 2009, first and foremost the sector of exporting engineering services, industrial machinery and pharmaceutical products, wood, paper and  food industries.

Austria imports oils, crude and asphalt.

 More than 20 Austrian companies operating in engineering studies, contractions, public work, topographic and automated solutions, and installation of panels, cabling industry, energetic and electric equipment, attended the forum.
