Baccalaureate candidates eliminated for cheating during the exams

The stringent surveillance measures deployed by the by the education ministry ahead of the baccalaureate exams have foiled most of the cheating attempts tried by the candidates who were even prevented from going to toilets at the same time to prevent information exchange between them.

  •

  •

  • The candidates were unanimous to admit that this year’s surveillance plan was unprecedented because of the large number of proctors, nearly 5 inside each classroom, in addition to 10 supervisors in each examination center.

  •

  • These exceptional measures are designed to guarantee the smooth running of the exams and supervise the movements of the candidates.

  •

  • The head of the parents’ association khaled Ahmed has indicated that, unlike the previous years, the candidates are not resorting to modern technologies like the “Bluetooth” for cheating.

  •

  • But, he added, they are using the old days’ tricks like slips of papers and writings on the tables. Those stratagems are very hard to detect by the proctors, it said.

  •

  • For his part, the head of the Technical and High School Union, Meziane Merianne has indicated that he has requested from the education minister to take the appropriate measures to avoid cheating in order to give more credibility to this prestigious exam
