Baccalureate: successful candidates will exceed 52 percent

Philosophy good scores got by the Baccalureate candidates in Arts and Philosophy branch will raise success rate to 52 percent along with excellent scores obtained in Experimental Sciences branches, Echorouk has learnt.

Last year, 44.78 percent of candidates passed the exam while collective cheating was noticed during philosophy exam among candidates from Arts and Philosophy branch. The ministry excluded 3,180 candidates for cheating.

In this session, corrector teachers did not notice any cheating attempts while they were surprised by god scores as the best score in philosophy subject in Arts and Philosophy branch was 16/20.

According to the same sources, the Experimental Sciences branch will rank first for the number of successful candidates in Algeria due to good scores in different subjects. Mathematics branch comes second followed by Technical Mathematic Branch, Arts and Philosophy and Foreign Languages branches.

The exam results are expected to be announced on July 6^th while sources said they will be revealed before this date.
