Interior and Local Communities Minister, Noureddine Badaoui, called upon the sons of the south to show more vigilance under the difficult security situation in the Algerian border with the neighbouring countries, where some parties try to destabilize the security and stability of the region.

Interior Minister praised the efforts of the National People’s Army and various security services which secure the border.

His statements come a day after the talk about a military intervention in Libya.

Badaoui took advantage, on Monday, in his meeting with civil society actors of Tamanrasset (southern Algeria), to talk about the security situation with the neighbouring countries, and addressed the dignitaries of the region: “You know best the size of the tragedy that is experienced by the region. What we saw yesterday, in the neighbouring country, and we were all astonished of the spread of wildfire, is the same situation that is experienced, unfortunately,in several brother and friendly countries, as some groups are trying to export it to us again, after failing, through sending a mission from the inside. Thanks to your vigilance all and the people’s, here they are trying to adopt an approach of penetration of the neighbourhood border.”

“The situation requires us all, the people and the army, to persevere in our quest and strengthen the unity of our ranks and go towards what is most important, which is advancing development in the province, especially that Algeria today lives in a variable and unstable world and is trying through obscure entities that are operating in the rough, to destabilize many countries”.
