“Bank of Statistics” under Interior Ministry's supervision to control economic operators' activities
The Minister of the Interior and Local Assemblies, Dahou Ould Kablia, is to expound before the next government council meeting a special report outlining new regulation measures aimed at overseeing the daily activities of economic operators in Algeria as from the beginning of next year.
-
Mr Dahou Ould Kablia’s ministerial department is intent on collecting the maximum information and statistics about the regular activities and transactions in Algeria carried out by economic operators as part of a reliable and exhaustive data bank.
-
-
This comprehensive data bank which is to be set up by the relevant authorities will help the Interior Ministry in conjunction with other governmental services to keep a watchful eye on the transparency and legal aspect of all the economic operators’ activities with the ultimate aim of “cleansing” Algeria’s economic sector of any financial malpractice or illegal practices in this vital field of endeavour.

-
According to Echorouk’s sources, over 7 thousand administrative agents will be mobilized shortly for the carrying out of this large-scale census and data-gathering operation.
