Banks receive banned imports list

Banks Professional Association transmitted to banks a detailed list of banned imports, in response to confusion amid banks as they could not determine the banned products.

Echorouk has learnt that banks received a letter from the Association this week. It gives details about banned imports including finished marble, carpets, soap, finished plastic products and wood furniture.

This comes as bank managers and operators were confused about banned products such as spare parts, plastic accessories and carpets.
