Belkhadem for a cabinet reshuffle

Secretary-General of the National Liberation Front, Abdelaziz Belkhadem called during his appearance on an Algerian TV program, for the change of government led by Ahmed Ouyahia, Head of the National Democratic Alliance.

Belkhadem asserted that his party supports calls to make political reforms within the constitutional institutions.

“I support the idea of changing government. I avoided going into such a decision because it’s the president’s decision, even though my position as head of the most important party which contains the largest number of representatives, allows me to call for the change of a government that puts the country in risk threatening the stability and security of Algerians”, he added.

“I support the idea of reform which began with reconsideration of the election law by involving all political parties and the law for parties, associations and media.
