In a statement to the press in Algiers, national team coach Abdelhak Benchikha has spelled out his favoured tactical scheme to be implemented by the players of the national football squad versus Morocco on March 27th in Annaba stadium as part of the qualifying fixtures of the Africa cup of nations competition stressing that it could well help the Greens of Algeria carry the day with flying colours barring an untoward contingency.
- Benchikha said that the choice of the players due to face Morocco had been meticulously made hoping that his projected tactical scheme (4-2-3-1) would prove successful provided it is properly implemented by the Algeria line-up versus the Moroccan national squad.
- The national team coach further asserted that he had selected the fittest players at the moment in line with their respective performance with their respective clubs in order to bolster the chances of success of the Greens on D.Day in Annaba stadium.
- Abdelhak Benchikha also emphasized that the Algerian players should remain extremely vigilant and demonstrate an utmost solidarity during the upcoming Annaba qualifier as the Atlas Lions of Morocco possess seasoned strikers like Chamakh and El Hamdaoui and others who could upset the applecart at any time of this decisive fixture if they are left unchecked by their respective opponents on the pitch, he warned.
