Bezzaz to Echorouk: “No time for sweeping changes in Algeria football line-up”
In an exclusive interview with “Echorouk”, the talented Algerian striker, Yacine Bezzaz, who had missed the 2010 World cup tournament in South Africa because of a serious knee injury, has expressed the wish to come back to the Algeria line-up once he has fully recovered in expectation of the upcoming Africa Cup Nations qualifiers scheduled for early September 2010.

During these first-round Africa Cup of Nations’ qualifying matches, Algeria will be pitted against Morocco, Gabon and Tanzania.

-
Echorouk : How are you doing now?
-
-
Bezzaz : Well, I am hale and hearty. I have just come back from a trip to Algeria for a family visit. Now, I am back in France and I am currently considering certain offers from several second-division clubs in France after quitting the squad of Strasburg with whom I’d played for several years.
-
-
Echorouk : Can you tell us the name of your future outfit after the end of your contract with the club of Strasburg?
-
-
Bezzaz : As a matter of fact, I have three offers at the moment from three French second-division clubs but I have not made as yet my decision. I will make public the name of my new club as early next week after a deep perusal.
-
-
Echorouk : Are you really intent on staying in France?
-
-
Bezzaz : Yes, absolutely. I prefer stability. I want eagerly to come back to competition in order to keep my chances alive of rejoining my teammates within the Algerian national football squad ahead of the forthcoming Africa cup of Nations qualifiers in early September.
-
-
Echorouk : What is your appraisal of the performance of the Greens of Algeria in the first round of the 2010 world cup tournament in South Africa?
-
-
Bezzaz : Well, I should frankly say that the players of the Algeria squad made a good and honorable performance despite garnering only one point after three diligently-played matches versus Slovenia, England and the USA.

With a more efficient attacking line and some goals scored, they could have easily qualified for the second round of the competition despite the strength and potency of their opponents in the same group.
