Boudebouz signs four-year contract with Betis
Spain’s Real Betis Wednesday said a four-season-contract was signed with Algerian international Ryad Boudebouz. His transfer deal had been delayed due to some administrative hindrances with his former French club Montpelier.
According to Real Betis’ official website, Boudebouz is officially with the Spanish club which has another Algerian player: defender Aissa Mandi.
Media reports said Boudebouz’s transfer deal cost 7 million euros to Real Betis added to other rewards for Montpelier and their player if drawn goals are achieved.
Earlier on Monday, Boudebouz went to Sevilla to sign with Real Betis. He received a hearty welcome from the Spanish club’s fans. They gathered at his arrival in the airport.
He was supposed to sign his contract directly after a medical check up on Tuesday. Yet, the signature was postponed to Wednesday due to administrative hindrances.
