Bougherra a priority to Turkish Kayserispor

- Arveladze, a former Rangers player, told Daily Mail: “Madjid Bougherra is a player I have admired for a long time, and I would like to see him join Kayserispor. Transfers are always difficult but I am very confident that we can sign him.”
- He added: “I certainly hope that is the case because I follow Rangers closely and he has been a very good player for them. He would be a very important player for Kayserispor.”
- However, Bougherra has already reveale turning down an offer to extend his contract with Rangers for two years. He also reiterated his wish to move south and join the Premier League.
- Rangers’ assistant manager Ally McCoist, however, denied having any knowledge of Bougherra declining a new deal to stay at Ibrox.
- He said: “The situation with Madjid is news to me. He hasn’t spoken to me or the manager, so we need to sit down with him and find out what he is thinking.”
