“Brahimi” collides with the Zionists, and “Soudani” in a tough group
In a lavish ceremony held Thursday in the Principality of Monaco (France) for the draw for the group stage of the 2015-2016 European Champions football League, the playmaker of Portugal’s FC Porto Algerian international Yacine Brahimi will be confronted with his team-mates with the potent squads of England’s Chelsea and Dinamo Kiev of Ukraine and to a lesser extent with the Zionist team of Maccabi Hafia of Tel Aviv as a dark horse.
For his part, Algerian international striker Soudani who plays for Croatia’s Dinamo Zagreb has found himself together with his playmates in a tough group made up of German giants Bayern Munich, England’s Arsenal and the Greek squad of “Olympiakos.
There is also the presence of two other seasoned Algerian internationals in this European champions league competition namely “Sofiane Feghouli” and “Rachid Ghezzal” who will meet face to face in Group H which includes “Zenit of St Petersburg”, Spain’s Valencia FC , Belgium’s Gent and France’s Olympique of Lyon.
England’s Manchester City face Serie A’s Juventus, Europa League winners Sevilla of Spain and Germany’s Borussia Monchengladbach.
Each team will play six fixtures in the group stage, with the first match days taking place on 15 and 16 September.
All four English clubs avoided drawing either defending champions FC Barcelona, or Real Madrid, who have won the European Cup 10 times.
