Civil protection agents to protest on November 18

National Federation of Civil Protection Agents accused the General Manager, Mostafa Lahbiri, of upgrading his friends on the stake of other qualified employees of the sector, and neglecting the file of reviewing the monthly wage increases and 80 additional hours since 2004, while it postponed its protest which calked for removing the General Manager until next November 18.

National Federation of Civil Protection Agents called, on Wednesday, during its meeting at the house of independent syndicated, all the agents to stand out of the General Directorate headquarters on November 18, in a protest to condemn the situations that the sector is living, as it was decided to postpone the protest that was scheduled before this date, while the meeting attendees accused General Manager, Mostafa Lahbiri, of marginalizing some employees of the sector through out giving priority to regional managers and senior officers, who occupy sensitive positions in the directorate and their friends.
Civil protection agents prepared a list of 19 demands, and sent a copy to Echorouk, asking the GM to leave his post, and increase their wages as from 55,000 ZDZ, in addition to reconsidering all the marginalized officers, and reintegrate employees who were removed and fired from their posts since 2004.
In this context, the federation asked for the reconsideration of the housewives grants and allowances for retirees and chronic diseases patients.
Representatives of civil protection agents, calked upon the Interior Minister, asking him to commit to the republic laws, through checking out reports of the General Directorate of Finance since 2002, and open an investigation at the level of 48 Wilayas, on managing the budget and richness of some officials to stand for the extent of agents sufferance.
