Coordination of Freedoms and Democratic Transition joins the front of change
Coordination of Freedoms and Democratic Transition will evaluate the political situation’s development in Algeria in a meeting before this week.
It spires to expand the circle of opposition to face the authorities before the coming social entry, through extending the hand to the pole of change, that is led by former candidate for the Presidential Elections, Ali Benflis.
A member of the coordination, Djilali Soufiane, and head of the (Jil Jadid) New Generation Party, told Echorouk that the leaders of the coordination for the democratic transition are in constant contact with various political partners who attended the seminar in Zeralda, and will hold an evaluating meeting before the week end at the headquarter of a member party, to work on expanding the circle of opposition forces in order to pressurize the authority and achieve the desired democratic transition in the country, and to establish the state of law.
“Pole for Change, which is led by the former Prime Minister, Ali Benflis, is expected to join the coordination in an official capacity, because both of them share many points. Communication between the two parties have not been interrupted since the symposium of June 10. In this context it is expected during a meeting in this week to arrange a meeting with the leaders of the “pole of change” which is supposed to take place before the end of the current month of August”.
What reinforces the need to broaden the base of opposition, according to the head of the New Generation Party, the emergence of several initiatives that were interpreted by followers as a force that is launched in order to distract the opposition, which is scaring the power more than ever, especially with the convergence between its components in spite of the ideological antagonism between them.
