Customs seize Israel-made products in Annaba Port
Customs major inspection department of Commercial operations foiled an attempt to dump the Algerian market with Israel-made products in Annaba. Clothes imported from China were found out inside a container at the Annaba Port carrying “Made in Israel” phrase. There were also writings in Hebrew on them.
A total of 58 parcels containing 5,815 sports clothes for children were seized. A total of 250 tailpipes imported from China were also seized. They carried “Ghardaia, Algeria” phrase. Customs also seized 34,800 chargers, 1,480 headphones carrying an Algerian brand.
According to a press release, justice will follow up this case and collect customs fines.
