Djamel Mesbah to Echorouk: “I wish coach Rabah Saadane would keep the same squad”

Algeria’s World Cup team left-winger Djamal Mesbah said he enters history through playing before England, and wishes to have the opportunity to play before USA.

• Mesbah hopes Coach Rabah Saadane will keep the same squad that faced England when playing against USA tomorrow.
• Echorouk: Did you expect playing before England?
• Djamel Mesbah: Frankly, it is unbelievable. I was surprised when Coach Rabah Saadane prepares me to play during the halftime.
• Echorouk: How did you live this event as long as you are new in the Algerian squad?

• Djamel Mesbah: It was a good feeling, because I realised many dreams once a time. I played for Algeria   and participated in the World Cup, as well as playing before England.
• Echorouk: You were an ignored player in Lecce, now you played before England. How do you live this event or change?
• Djamel Mesbah: Explicitly, it is unbelievable. I am living a dream and I wish I showed a good performance during the minutes before England.
• Echorouk: How can you describe those five minutes?
• Djamel Mesbah: Frankly, I cannot talk about my self and I do not think there is a specialist that can speak five minutes. However, I can say I did not make an error and this good for a new player.
• Echorouk: Coach Rabah Saadane put you at the place of Karim Ziani. Did you play as a midfielder?
• Djamel Mesbah: I played many times a left-winger, especially with the Swiss club, and played as a left defender in Lecce.
• Echorouk: Will you accept playing as a midfielder before USA if the coach asked you for that?
• Djamel Mesbah: I am at the service of Algeria and the coach Rabah Saadane. I am ready to play at any position if possible.
• Echorouk: You realised a positive result before England. Do you think the Desert Warriors will play with the same level before USA?
• Djamel Mesbah: I think we did our best to reach such a result and we made many difficulties before Rooney’s teammates.
• Echorouk: Despite that, you were unable to score.
• Djamel Mesbah: The most important is that we were not defeated. We will play more at the attack before USA.
