Djezzy’s employees uncertain about their future

Uncertainty looms over the mobile phone operator workforce “ Djezzy” ahead of the outcome of the current negotiations to take over the company by the Algerian authorities or another party.

• This situation has affected the general mood and company’s future programs including numerous training sessions abroad dedicated for its personnel which have been cancelled since the freezing of the company’s accounts by the Algerian authorities.

•  The 6 thousand employees that counts Djezzy are following with the utmost interest the current negotiations especially after the announcement of the taking over of Orascom Telecom by Vimpelcom and the withdrawal of the current CEO, the Egyptian Nadjib Sawriss.
