Draft law governing entrepreneurial activities do be presented to the government soon

The status of the entrepreneurs will be ready in the upcoming few days after the endorsement of the cabinet to the draft law elaborated by the committed which has been assigned the task to do it, union sources have revealed.

• One of the provisions included in the draft law gives the priority for the Algerian companies over the foreign ones when dealing with major public projects, the same sources have further added.

• The newly drafted text focussed on the necessity to reduce the number of documents required from the entrepreneur to get the permission to start his project, reducing thus extra expenses in addition to the shortening of the required period to get the go ahead from the relevant authorities, it said.

• To recall, nearly 400 entrepreneurs went in bankruptcy in less than 2 years on account of bureaucracy and marginalization that have to face the Algerian operators as opposed to their foreign counterparts.
