Drastic invigilation measures for 2008 baccalaureat exam in Algeria, says Education Minister
The baccalaureat exam of this year which is scheduled for June 3, 2008, will take place under strict invigilation.

The National Education Minister Aboubakr Benbouzid announced a string of stringent measures aimed at bolstering teachers' monitoring during the upcoming baccalaureat exam in a bid to stave off any drift or fraud.

 The baccalaureat exam of this year which is scheduled for June 3, 2008, will therefore take place under strict invigilation in an attempt to preclude any fraud or cheating by deceitful candidates.

The new measures are designed to ensure the smooth running of this crucial examen which gives the laureates access to university studies.

 Benbouzid stressed, in this connection that the number of invigilators on duty would be beefed up during this year’s exam in a bid to face up to any contingency.

 The National Education Minister also emphasized that the had given firm instructions whereby the subjects of the 2008 Baccalaureat exam would be in perfect keeping with the  contents of the school syllabus, followed this year by the final grade high school students, in a bid to give more chances of success to the hopeful candidates.
