Droukdel’s messengers to Desert Brigade arrested in Tamnrasset

Security forces arrested the most dangerous elements of a brigade in charge of transmitting terrorist information in the province of Tamnrasset (south of Algiers).

  The terrorists who work for Abdelmalek Droukdel were caught with two guns and fake documents, Echorouk has learnt.

  They came from Boumerdes province (50 km east of Algiers) in an attempt to transport important documents and a verbal message to their commandment in the desert.
  

  The successful security intervention came following a well-controlled ambush. The terrorists were arrested in a car park belonging to a resident in the area of Ain Saleh. He ran away.

  Previously, security forces observed a Partner car used by terrorists to reach their destination across five provinces.

  According to the same sources, the terrorists were going to transmit important verbal information from the national leader of the so-called the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat (GSPC) to an unknown person.
