East-West Algerian highway: “The petrol stations will be delivered in 2012”
The Algerian public works Minister, Amar Ghoul, has announced that 5 mobile petrol stations were received during this month of November while the remainder will be received in the course of 2012 as part of the achiement of the 1.280km-long east-west highway.
- 42 petrol stations in all will be achieved along the east-west highway, he said.
- The achievement of these petrol stations will be entrusted to the Naftal Company.
- Evoking the delay recorded in the achievement of the portion of the east-west highway at the levels of the provinces of Constantine and Skikda, Amar Ghoul explained that this was due to purely geological factors.
- The public works Minister indicated that an inter-ministerial council had met recently with the special aim of determining the exact location of these petrol stations.
- The overall area allotted to these petrol stations exceeds 12 hectares, he said.
- Amar Ghoul stressed that major human and financial resources were necessary for the early achievement of these stations.
