Ebola will not enter Algeria, says minister

Algerian health minister Abdelmalek Boudiaf Sunday said the government took prevention measures against Ebola virus.
« The ministry applies a balanced strategy about the virus. It takes in consideration the most important factors behind it such as heat, humidity and animals living in tropical areas, » the minister told Echorouk.
Speaking about African migrants living in Algeria, Boudiaf said the ministry did not plan to deport them in an illegal way.
« Authorities deal with African migrants in accordance to international accords. Yet, any comer from Africa should take medical tests, » he said.
