Echorouk harks back to the somber affair involving a so-called “woman suicide-bomber”

The criminal court of Blida has in its last hearing examined the somber affair involving several defendants including the so-called woman suicide bomber settled in Blida who was supposedly wanted several years ago by the security services as part of a terrorism-linked investigation.

•  The whole affair went back to the year 2005 when the hapless victim “KH” was the target of an attempted murder carried out by “R.M” who was finally sentenced to 5 years’ imprisonment by the Blida criminal court while another defendant was cleared of all charges for lack of evidence.

• “R.M” is a former military who hatched a plot aimed at murdering the victim” KH” in the city of Blida with the use of his firearm.

• During their appointment in 2005, “R.M” shot “K.H” with his gun twice and left immediately the spot of the attack, thinking that the victim was dead.

• However, the victim “KH” survived and was rushed to hospital where he received the necessary medical treatment.

• Another henchman of “R.M”, “S.S” who had no implication in the attempted murder, was used by the main defendant “R.M” for the supply of information.

• In this connection, according to judicial sources, “S.S” told “R.M” that he had heard in a news bulletin broadcast then by the satellite channel “Euronews”, that the Algerian security services were searching for a “woman suicide bomber” who was believed to be used for the bombing by a terrorist group of a state institution building some where in Algiers.

• “R.M” then used his connections and succeeded in finding the woman in question “K.A” in Blida.

• The latter got involved against her will in several dirty affairs with several men at the behest of “R.M” who wanted to use her to his own advantage but he forgot the vigilance and resourcefulness of the security forces who ensnared the whole gang members and brought them to justice after the completion of an exhaustive inquiry.
